Tết Nguyên Đán - Vietnamese New Year 2015
We celebrated Vietnamese New Year in our school on Wednesday last as 1st and 2nd classes tasted Vietnamese traditional fruits , water melons and tangerines, and they wore red clothes as red is the colour for good luck in the Vietnamese culture.
Pancake Tuesday 2015
Congratulations to rang a haon agus rang a dó and their teachers Ms. Rowan and Ms. Larmer as they raised €72 for the National Children’s Hospital Tallaght Hospital during their pancake party on Tuesday last.
The children of the Cáirde classes went to Virginia on Tuesday the 17th of February. The children their SNA's and teachers enjoyed some time spent in the Pergola nurseries before walking down to Lough Ramor.
The children finished their trip with a visit to Willow's Cafe and McEvoy's Supervalu.
A great day was had by all and everyone is looking forward to the next outing.
As part of Engineers week we had a visit from some of our local engineers!
