Fundraising Event Quiz Night

We held a Table Quiz in the Ramor Inn on Friday last and it was a great success.    Many thanks to parents, community members and businesses who offered prizes for the raffle and auction which helped raise much needed funds. Míle buíochas.

Order of Malta

Bronwyn Kavanagh, a past pupil of our school, is involved with the local Order of Malta Ambulance Corps and she has asked for our support to help raise funds to purchase a new ECG monitor. We will have a no uniform/Christmas Jumper/ Christmas Hat day on the last day of term, Friday 22nd December 2017, and we are asking all pupils to donate €1 towards the Order of Malta. In return, the Order of Malta are offering to come in and teach students and staff about CPR Awareness.

Carol Service

The annual parish/school Carol Service will take place in St. Bartholomew's Church on Sunday evening next 17th December at 5pm. The carol service is a community event and will involve pupils from our school. There will be a cup of tea afterwards in the school hall for everyone and there will also be some refreshments/treats for the children!


The concert this year will take place in the school on Wednesday 20th December during the day at 11.30am and in the evening at 7pm. All parents and families are invited to the concert. Admission to the concert is €5 and there will be a raffle.


Phones/Phones/Phones: Thank you for the fantastic responses to our request for old mobile phones.  Please continue help us build on this to be able to get a free iPad for our school. Christmas is coming and there will be old phones about.

Liathróid Lámha                                                                    Congratulations and good luck to Josh Fitzsimons, rang a sé, who will play in the quarterfinals of the county handball championship this weekend in Kingscourt.


Futsal has been rescheduled again to a date to be confirmed after Christmas.

Christmas Assembly and Santa Visit

On Friday 22nd December 2017 Santa will make a special visit to our school to meet all the boys and girls and we will have our Christmas Assembly at 11.45am in the school hall.

Christmas Holidays

School Closes Friday next 22nd December at 12.30pm and will reopen on Monday 8th January 2018.
