Book Rental                                                                                                                             The first instalment for our Book Rental scheme is due next Tuesday 4th April.  Payments can be made by instalments and will fall due on the following dates: 4th April 2017 - €30.00, 2nd May 2017 - €20.00 and 6th June 2017 - €20.00. The school will e mail a payment request to you and reminders will be sent as payments fall due. It is of course open to parents to pay all at once or in two/three instalments if they so wish. Alternatively parents can pay in the school office. If the above schedule does not suit you please contact the school office to discuss alternative arrangements.

Enrolment 2017                                                                                                                  We are hoping to finalise our enrolments for September 2017. If you wish to enrol your child for please contact the school office on 049 8547081 for an enrolment form or download a form from the school website

Scholastic Book Fair

The Book Fair has been a great success thanks to all the children and parents for your support.

Parents Association Easter Raffle: Tickets will be on sale in school hall at 11am and 1pm each day. Tickets cost 50c for a strip or 3 strips for €1. There are 6 beautiful prizes on view outside the school office. We will hold our Easter draw in school on Friday 7th April. (Thanks to Julie Bird Bus Escort for donation of 3 lovely Easter hampers)

Junior Entrepreneur Programme – “The Flour Power Bakery”

The Flour Power Bakery are finalising their entry for the year. This venture has been a very successful project with fun and learning all in one. Thank you to 6th class and their teacher Ms. White Lynch for all their hard work.

Annual Tag Rugby – Aldi Rugby Provincial Primary School Festival

This week our 6th Class pupils took part in the Aldi Tag Rugby festival at Virginia RFC, Ballyjamesduff Road, Virginia.  It was enjoyed by all and topped off with lovely food.

Cash for Clobber:  This is a great chance to support the school while clearing out unwanted clothing and shoes (pairs only please). All types of clothing are acceptable. Other textile items will be accepted, except duvets and pillows.   (No rush collection Date is in May).

Skills Competition: Caoimhe Hetherton, Ciara Enright and Megan Magee will represent our school at the INTO/GAA Mini Sevens Skills Competition which will take place on the 3G pitch, Kingspan Breffni Park next week.

First Confessions takes place in the church next Tuesday 4th April at 7.30pm.

Scooter and Cycle Training

The grand finale for the 4th Green School Flag, Scooter training for all pupils will take place in the school next Tuesday and Wednesday. Please bring in Scooter, Helmet and Hi-Vis.  Cycle training for parents will take place on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm (please support and bring your bicycle)

Blue Day: We celebrated the National Annual Autism Awareness Day on Friday. This is known as “Blue Day” and all pupils and staff wore something blue!! We held information talks about Autism in the Cairde classes for all pupils and staff facilitated by the Cairde pupils and staff.

Easter Holidays

School closes next Friday 7th April at 12.30pm for the Easter Holidays.
