Carol Services – School and Parish
There will be a Parish Carol Service in St. Bartholomew’s Church on Sunday at 6pm. Our school choir, with pupils from 3rd to 6th classes, will take part in the service and sing a few Christmas songs and hymns.We will also have our own School Christmas Carol Service at 11.15am in the hall on Friday morning 19th December 2014. All parents and families are welcome to attend both Carol Services. School closes for the Christmas holidays at 12.30pm on Friday 19th December 2014.
Breakfast with Santa
The boys and girls from our Cáirde classes, Infants and 1st class will have breakfast with Santa in Best o’ Matz next week.
Santa Claus is coming......
Santa Claus will visit our school on Friday 19th December 2014 at 10am with presents for all the children. Thank you to the Parent’s Association for arranging Santa’s visit.
Our swimming sessions are now coming to an end and we say a big thank you to all pupils and staff for making the swimming so enjoyable and beneficial. A special thanks to the staff of Kells pool.

‘Cuckoo Connolly’s Curious Clock-Shop’ Padraic McIntyre
The Christmas play was a big attraction again this year and all pupils and staff enjoyed hearing about ‘Cuckoo Connolly’s Curious Clock-Shop’!
Our school secretary, Lorraine Mulholland, is retiring from her position at Christmas and there will be a presentation to Lorraine in the school at 12 noon on Friday 19th December 2014. All parents, families and past pupils are welcome to attend the presentation to say ‘míle buíochas’ to Lorraine for her dedication to the school community over the last fourteen years.
